So, with yet another opportunity to feed the ego AND bust myself in the chops: How awesome is it when, against every code you hold dear, You comb through your address book and send out a giant group mail, only to have a typo in the subject line?
Here’s the email:
Subject: JM Bell to host KSL’s Nightside Project Tonight 7pm – modnight
Sorry about the group email, but, I don’t have time to pop this out one by one.
KSL’s The Nightside Project is letting me guest host this evening while Michael Castner is out of town.
Thursday and Friday nights were hosted by Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff and Congressman Chris Cannon, so, whatever the reasons, KSL is putting up against some pretty title heavy guys. It’s been about 12 years since I’ve done anything on the radio aside from an interview, so, the potential for me to suck out loud at 50,000 watts is pretty big. I hope you’ll spend a couple of hours with me tonight. I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of fun.
There are a few different ways to listen:
Salt Lake Area: 102.7 FM
Greater Utah / Idaho / Wyoming: 1160 AM
The rest of the planet: www.ksl.com for live streaming content in a variety of formats.
Podcast: http://pandora.bonnint.net/audio/nightside.rssI hope you all have a little time to tune in.
What a total dork.
I kind of liked “modnight”; it sounded ’60s-ish.
I thought it was a secret code word or something to throw the spooks off…
I considered saying something then figured that at least a few other people would have pointed it out to you. Of course, “modnight” could mean that you’re the moderator for the night and you’re just using hip Web 2.0-ish lingo on us all.
