So, I was pleased to see Matheson’s name as one of the co-sponsors and totally not surprised to find Cannon and Bishop’s names missing.

So, Rep. Lee introduced this in January and, now, in late July, it’s sitting somewhere in the Senate. Hey, Congress, that’s ok, take your time, it’s not like people are dying over there, or anything, right?
UPDATE: Turns out Matheson is a solid vote to help Darfur and that Cannon and Bishop are always against help for Darfur. Always, as far as I can find on Thomas at the LOC.
Maybe Bishop and Cannon didn’t sign on because this bill is nothing but words. It will not save a single life, nor will it influence a single Arab state.
