On Gerrymandering and "Fair Boundaries"
From the Fair Boundaries website: In 2001, The Wall Street Journal named Utah one of the most gerrymandered states in the nation. Fair Boundaries, a non-partisan organization, believes that in a true Democracy voters pick their leaders, not the other way around. It is...
Jeff's Bizarre Behavior – Photoshop Contest
In an article in this morning's Salt Lake Tribune - this made me laugh - Wayne Holland said: "I expect Jeff to do bizarre things, I was warned about that." - (I'm going to write a little bit about this later today.) So, I'm a guy who spends about 16 hours a day in his...
A Letter to Utah Democrats – Jeff Bell for Utah Democratic Party Chair
In the last two years I’ve received hundreds of emails, phone calls and had conversations with citizens who are concerned about the future of our Utah State Democratic Party. We have candidates who feel disenfranchised and ignored, and party members that have grown...
Sheryl Ginsberg for Salt Lake County Secretary
I am beyond privileged to endorse Sheryl Ginsberg for Salt Lake County Secretary. Sheryl is one of the most faithful Democrats I have ever known. She is also an excellent campaign coordinator and a tireless worker and volunteer. Sheryl has a lifetime of practical...
I – J.M. Bell – Shall willingly, without reservation, watch an episode of CSI
No matter how sick I am of having 423 titles of CSI on the air, wasting the time and finances of the network, keeping other, better shows off the air, I will suspend my one man boycott of this silly procedural "drama" because ... because the bastards know how to get...

The Hero of Canton – Music for Mudders

Dave Arneson – Dungeons & Dragons Co-Creator – Dead At 61
While I might deny that I said this tomorrow - a good amount of my teen years were spent playing either D&D, or one of the other games inspired because of it. Maybe a few years in my 20's. Maybe. I remember the whole, VERY SILLY, devil worship concerns that were...
Important conversations about important topics – Cold Fusion
From the IM - J.M. Bell: holy crap, look at this - "1912 - The first automobile traffic light is invented and installed in Salt Lake City, where it's embraced by locals — until it turns red." I had no idea Brenda: me either J.M. Bell: that whole Cold Fusion thing...
My Favorite Holiday(s)
First - I married Brenda on April 1st, 2002. I think we got the large turn out in part because friends and family wanted to see if there was a punchline. I'm pretty sure some of them are still waiting for the pay-off. Second - I love silliness. We live in a serious...
PODCAST – The Republican't Party unleashes the "toddler tantrum" political strategy
From Saturday's "Left of the Dial" - The Republicans rolled out their "Budget Alternative" late last week ... and pissed nearly every news organization off. It was a budget - with no numbers. Listen in, share your feedback. Republican\'t Party + Underpants Gnomes =...

You know us as The LEFT Show and the World’s Greatest Comic Book Podcast, but did you know we’ve done other shows? Over the last 12 years, we’ve hosted a myriad of shows featuring voices and topics you really can’t get anywhere else.
Once a year, mostly, we open up a GoFundMe to help pay our static bills for the year. Usually, we ask for help with hosting, domain renewals, SSL certificates, bandwidth usage and equipment repair, just to name a few things.
This year is different. THIS YEAR, we’re kicking it up a notch. We’re building a studio, but not just a podcast studio … a broadcast studio!
That’s right, we’re evolving. We’re shopping office space to build the next step in our Network’s adventure. A lot of you have been asking when we’re going to start doing Video with the podcasts, and this is your time to shine!
HOW? Easy. Two paths to success: Fundraising and Sponsorships. We’re working hard on pulling in a few sponsors for the year, and we’re asking folks to help us bridge the gap!
This is not only a way for the World’s Greatest Podcast Network to record the shows you already know and love, but to expand the lineup with new shows, and to help people and non-profits to record their own shows. We’ve committed, over the years, to helping launch new voices and evolving the pod-space for important messages.
