My beloved “Yellow Box” – the computer that handled more than 90% of my workload and data storage died hard on Saturday. As butch as that machine was, she was also getting old and had been used well past any expectation of a sane person’s demands.
Starting Saturday night, I built a new box. This one is black, sleek, good looking and, best of all, fast. The parts inside make the yellow box look like a typewriter.
I miss my yellow box.
My yellow box knew all my passwords.
