If you go back a few months, I issued an ultimatum to members of the Utah Legislature. Read it again, it’s kick ass: “ULTIMATUM – Dear Legislator, vote for Henry’s Bill, first time felony, or else”
Well, it got a new comment today that I thought I’d share with you fine people.
We have a very good chance this year of seeing this legislation passed. Initially there were 3 proposed pieces of legislation 2 of which would weaken the current code. Those 2 have been withdrawn and only Senator Davis’ bill is before the legislature. It is SB 101 and is exactly how it was last year. Please visit our website www.henryslaw.com and find the 2007 voting on the bill last year.
It really did pass unanimously aside from the last minute amendments which were a calculated move to kill the bill. Help us in a citizens lobby day scheduled for February 13th in room 240 State Capital.
Please RSVP to info@henryslaw.com so that we can calculate the food requirements for this event. We are sponsoring this with HSUS. ASPCA, and American Humane. Thanks for your concern and help with this issue.
This is awesome! I hope I can be there.
Glad to see this one getting another round.
Their website links to where the legislators stand on this aren’t working though, and I’d like to see that information.
Putting this one on the calendar, for sure.
You can see how the legislators voted at http://www.helpushelpthem.org if their site is not working.
I was swindled on paypal by some lowlife using a cell phone line. Jerkwad was shocked when I got her addy info and paid a visit lol!
