- Where does the “President’s Weekly Radio Address” play in Utah? What stations?
- Why do I only hear about it in 7 second soundbites on the TV News?
- When is it on?
- Does anyone around here listen to it?
I read the transcripts, from time to time, when I remember that it exists, but, really, anyone do this?
Radio, with the possible exception of some NPR programming, is worthless if you’re looking for actual news. I seem to recall hearing the Weekly Radio Address on a local station years ago. It may have been KALL or KSL, but now, your best option is to subscribe to the podcast. Radio made itself obsolete.
I know the public station out of USU used to air it Sunday mornings, but according to their website they no longer do.
I used to download the podcasts until I realized the President wasn’t saying anything that I hadn’t already heard David Broder or George Will say for him in a more entertaining (yet still strangely creepy) way, so I unsubscribed.
The President does a weekly show?
I podcasted it for a while, but I quit listening, mostly because my fragile mental state couldn’t take that much GW all at once.
