As KSL’s Doug Wright prepares to tackle the the topic of the minimum wage this morning, and, I assume, once again take Rep. Cannon by the hand to tiptoe through the mine-field of Cannon’s own statements, opinions and anti-social, (alleged) pederast excusing comments, I want to throw out a tiny bit of “comment” to them both:
Mr. Cannon, Doug, look past the thousands who would benefit from a raise in the minimum wage and focus as well on the tens of thousands who make between the $5.15 and the proposed $7.25. Those people would greatly benefit.
When statistics show that a family of five needs two full time jobs making at least $13.00 an hour just to see the poverty line, Rep. Cannon is showing that a millionaire Congressman might just be blowing smoke when he tells you how easy it is to make a living these days.
