If you were tuned to your radio last night, listening to KSL’s Nightside Project, I’m sure you dropped whatever you were holding and uttered a simple: “There’s no way anyone can believe that.” when you heard Rep. Chris Cannon (R-UT) blame the children in the Congressional Page program for the actions of alleged sexual predator Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL). Listen: Here CLICK, titled “Utah’s Representatives React to Foley Scandal”

It was a shameful display of both partisan divisiveness and a deep look into the thoughts of a Congressman whose district has more children than any other in America. Any and all feelings of outrage and anger at Mr. Cannon’s callous and ignorant statement is justified.

I invite you to once again take the time and effort to support Christian Burridge in his monumental fight to unseat this most undeserving and certainly shameless member of Congress.

In addition, I’ve yet to hear Rep. Bishop and Sen. Hatch make a statement against Mr. Cannon’s irresponsible comments last night, so, spread the support around.
