Yesterday, Democrats offered comprehensive, 500-page legislation to implement the 9/11 Commission recommendations, protect our chemical and nuclear plants, double the size of our special forces, and change course in Iraq. “Do Nothing” Congressional Republicans voted it down in a party-line vote. It’s time for a new direction.
