Congressional Republican rhetoric is tough, but their record of securing Americais one of negligence, incompetence, and failure. Congressional Republicans have left American troops stuck in a civil war in Iraq, left our military stretched thin, let the Taliban return in Afghanistan, left Somalia to the terrorists, and let North Korea expand its nuclear arsenal.

Failed policies have put American lives at risk, but Congressional Republicans are too cocky to change course. They even oppose screening 100% of the cargo that enters America. America needs a new direction.
