It’s almost over. Just a few exciting hours left before the totality of what’s been done to us can be looked back upon and contingency plans can start to be crafted.

All of this energy and last minute negotiation (which, as a lot of you know, is a time when elected Democrats are actually treated with respect) and here I am, in Washington DC a couple of thousand miles away from the action.

I’m doing my best to keep in touch, checking the internet and making lots of frantic phone calls, but the full contact experience of being on the [Utah] Hill the last day of the session is missing.
