Wayne Holland’s Tour of Warning

On the afternoon of the President’s State of the Union address to Congress, Utah Democratic Party Chair Wayne Holland, Jr. gave an address of his own to a crowd gathered in St. George, UT.

Tuesday’s event marks the first of many meetings scheduled statewide throughout the next two weeks, in which Wayne will deliver a message to the citizens of Utah: “Keep your eye on your government.”

Wayne’s thematic message shows the connection of power hungry legislators and lobbyists that were pointed out in last week’s newsletter.

Wayne was hosted by Washington County Chair Cyril Noble and accompanied by Iron County Democratic Party Chair Larry Daniel and his wife Kristen. Wayne chose to begin the message tour in St. George because “Southern Utah is quickly becoming the escalating epicenter of Utah politics. Where else in the state do you see a monthly meeting of more than one hundred Democrats?”

TV News station KCSG covered the event, as well as interviewing Wayne on the nightly newscast about the Tour of Warningand his expectations of the President’s State of the Union address.

The Spectrum covered the comments from Cyril Noble and Larry Daniel in response to the State of the Union and Governor Tim Kaine’s eloquent Democratic response.
