Democrats need to stopping worrying about “electability” (or whatever Chuck Todd and Joe Scarborough think electability is) and chasing the mainstream center. Instead, they should define electability and the mainstream. They need to give their base the go ahead on being about certain policy agendas and stop pretending Republicans will play ball if Democrats are just nice enough.
