I realize I’m always walking around with some degree or another of annoyance – but, this situation really pisses me off – not so much because Sally Ride was an American Icon – but because even an American Icon of her uniqueness can’t get the kind of media attention she deserves – the kind of volume that would held define this UN-American situation.
