It’s been 7 years, today, since the fruits of Bush’s deceit took the American military away from the “War on Terror” – away from where Osama bin Laden was hiding – and pushed us into a war based on neo-con-ideological fiction in a country that had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks on 09/11/2001.
- Greeted as liberators? For about 15 minutes.
- Iraq had terrorists? About 16 minutes after we got there.
- Osama bin Laden? Still alive.
- War in Afghanistan? Well, we won, but we left early so we’re fighting it again.
- War in Iraq? Ongoing.
- The surge? Less Americans are dying in a country that had nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11 and Republicans like to call that a win. I call it more dead service members and more dead Iraqi civilians.
7 Bloody Years fighting a war because of a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda. 6 Bloody Years of dead Americans because we’re fighting a war based on a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda. 7 Bloody Years with hundreds of thousands of dead civilians because we’re fighting a war based on a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda. 7 Bloody Years with tens of thousands of wounded, maimed and PTSD suffering Americans because we’re fighting a war based on a premeditated, political and patently deceitful neo-con agenda.
7 Bloody Years and Osama bin Laden is still alive and kicking and FREE.
7 Bloody Years.
* I figure since we’re using the same broken war policy after 7 years, I can recycle this piece with a few modifications.
