   Keith Olbermann’s addiction to hyperbole is almost inspiring! I especially enjoy how Olbermann indicate that Dick Cheney is somehow responsible for the 911 attacks because of his “negligence.” Let’s purposefully forget how previous presidential administrations, particularly that of Pres. Clinton, on numerous occasion, avoided the dangers posed by Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban. Or how he also prohibited the use of assasinations on key terrorists like OBL.

   It’s funny, if Dick Cheney is so “irrational” and “wrong,” why would the President of the United States of American dedicate an entire national security speech to discrediting the former Vice President’s claims?

   And as the current VP, Joe Biden, so excellently revealed to the American people shortly after the speeches, the President does NOT have a comprehensive plan for the Gitmo detainees. Instead, he is doing what he does best: improvisation.

   Well, I doubt that the President can improvise this one. There are numerous political, legal, and security hurdles in the way, and as much as Olbermann and the other “Obama apologists” try to spin things, the President is losing the Gitmo debate. Furthermore, don’t you think it’s a little strange that Cheney’s ratings are steadily rising?

   Let’s face it, no matter how elegantly Olbermann tries to argue otherwise, the issue of Guantanamo is a real thorn in the side of the President and his Democratic minions in Congress. And if there is any issue that the GOP can capitalize on, it’s this one.

   The up and coming Young Republicans of the U.S are not Cheney fans. Cheney’s latest rant did nothing to change their minds either. And whether anyone likes it or not, the Republican party will be changing. The very force of the Young Republicans coming into power will make it so.
