A rare event in Salt Lake City government is planned for Thursday at 7 p.m.

On that day in the Salt Lake Main Library Auditorium, five former Salt Lake mayors, as well as current Mayor Ralph Becker, will share their vision of the city’s past, present and future.

Former mayors Jake Garn, Ted Wilson, Palmer DePaulis, Deedee Corradini and Rocky Anderson will participate. Ken Verdoia from KUED will moderate the panel discussion.

From Garn to Becker, this panel of mayors represents nearly four decades of leadership in Salt Lake City. The public will be invited to offer questions for the panel, as well.

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at this free event.
