How sad is it that this truly reflects Pelosi’s “leadership” after the excitement everyone was feeling for her in Nov 2006. What a waste.
(That picture reminds me of a third grade teacher I had who was very fond of valium. She had this knack for standing in front of the class droning on about Edgar Allen Poe with that same “everything is going to be just fine” smile. She’s working in politics in California now too. Wonder if there is a connection.
Also, my fourth grade teacher is now president of the UEA. I like to think it was my influence, even at a young age and my youthful obsession with Star Wars, that pushed them into public service.
