There was an interesting article in the Provo Daily Herald.

It was about the fight for Utah’s 4th seat at the cost of giving DC a vote in the House. There are a lot of different reasons for people to like or dislike the bill the Rep. Davis pushed forward, but this one is the plain dumbest I have seen:

Salt Lake County GOP activist Jeremy Roberts opposes the idea and drafted the party resolution. He says it’s unconstitutional to let the District of Columbia have a House seat.

“This latest fiasco is clearly an attempt by the Democrats to get via legislation what they could not get via a constitutional amendment,” Roberts says in his resolution.

What James Roberts clearly fails to understand is that Rep,. Davis, the author and original sponsor of the bill, is a REPUBLICAN.

This is just like when Democrats get blamed for the DREAM ACT that was pushed by REPUBLICAN Senator Orrin Hatch and REPUBLICAN Chris Cannon. Did James Evans start giving classes in making stuff up?
