Daily Herald Article with Audio Link HERE

Here is the thing, repeated it would seem, on a few other (quicker) blogs and media forums (I’m going to point at the Herald again, because I can’t find it anywhere else): When given the opportunity to make a statement to you opponent, take the opportunity to mention something that is pretty bad, but that most media outlets already figure is old news.

I’m serious, when was the last time you saw an article on the Gambling lobbyist that used to run Rep. Chris Cannon’s Office? Been awhile, hasn’t it?

Well, Candidate Christian Burridge is still embarrassed that DAVID SAFAVIAN used to be Chris Cannon’s chief of staff and that both before and after he worked for Cannon, he was a lobbying partner with Jack Abramoff? You remember, the former Cannon Chief of Staff who got himself convicted of federal charges for obstruction and lying to a Grand Jury?

Among all of the other things that Mr. Candidate Burridge is embarrassed for the people of Utah about*, this is the one he brought up to close the debate while making a point about ethics in government and avoiding the appearances of dirty scandal. And Mr. Cannon went nuts. Hear it all HERE
