Well, it took longer than anyone thought, and, there was a really great chance for the Republicans to do the responsible thing and give back the stolen money (they didn’t, of course) and 40 of them went on the voting record as anti-Utah-Children’s-future (just because you say you care, doesn’t mean you care, ma’am. Votes speak louder than happy talk, like Ure), we have a goofy, untested two level tax system. Or whatever. I just know that this is going to cost me more than it did last year.

Did I mention that the House Democrats all voted in favor of the public education system? Did I mention that the House Democrats, every one of them, voted in favor of providing the greatest opportunity for the future of Utah and it’s children?

The last time I recall the House Democrats having this clear a consensus was … well … when funding the 2 million for emergency dental was on the floor for a vote. Go figure.

G’night everybody!
